A value breakthrough in sound quality.

The Bellafina Model 50 Cello Outfit is built in the Ren Wei Shi workshops from seasoned tonewoods chosen primarily for their sound quality and secondarily for appearance (less prominent flaming). This permits building a cello that sounds and plays like one many times more expensive. But the Bellafina Model 50 Cello remains affordable to nearly all serious cellists of any age. Bag and brazilwood horsehair bow included.

A quality instrument that won't sink your budget. Call or click today to order.

Comments about Bellafina Model 50 Cello Outfit:

The pictures do not do justice. This instrument is amazing for the price. I'm studying to become a music educator and decided it was time for an upgrade from my horrid, orange-coloured, plywood cello. This cello seems too good to be true. Beautifully finished carved spruce top, beautiful maple back and sides. I ordered some strings in advance because I predicted the ones given would be horrid. I was right. The bow is very nice. I also put some graphite on the pegs to help them turn a little smoother (good idea for new instruments). The pernumbucco bow is nice and taught and comfortable to hold. Once all was set up and ready, I was astounded at the resonance and playability of such and affordable instrument. My colleague plays a cello that is comparable to this that she spent $2600 on! I already bought a hard case to protect my new beloved instrument. Certainly a quality instrument for little price.

      first time player

Comments about Bellafina Model 50 Cello Outfit:

I am giving this instrument a 7 because the stings that it comes with are very metalic and are not the best. However the body has a very nice sound and is definatly worth it for the beginer player.

      Good for Cheap

Comments about Bellafina Model 50 Cello Outfit:

I am a fiddle player and bought thiss to try out Cello. It has an air like sound and can be hard to get a good tone with, but with enough practice at this instrument it can sound somewhat like a cello. If you want to be able to play Cello without spending a fortune and don't have to worry about it too much this is your best bet; However, be aware they are made in china and each one will vary. Some will come with cracks, some will be perfect.

Everybody wants to play my cello

Comments about Bellafina Model 50 Cello Outfit:

My dad got this cello for me for school. It almost sounds as good as my mom's cello ($4,000), and is actually better looking. But the best thing about it is the sound. I play in our school orchestra, and I know that a lot of the cellos cost a lot more than mine, but mine plays and sounds the best. Everyone else wants to play it. I have had it about a year now, and have had no problems other than wearing out the strings, and with the strings coming loose when I take it out in real cold weather (but that happens to all the cellos). Since getting this cello, I enjoy playing much more, and practice a lot more than before. I think that's what my dad was hoping.

      Bellafina Model 50 Cello Outfit

      By Jaeuk

Comments about Bellafina Model 50 Cello Outfit:

I was very pleased with the quality of this cello's sound for approximately 2 months. It seemed like a quality cello as the sound it produced was very deep and clear and the feeling of the neck while playing was comfortable. I really liked the design of it and enjoyed playing it. However, my A string started to make weird noise and saw that it was vibrating against the fingerboard. I checked if everything was alright and all was ok. The vibration against the fingerboard would indicate (I assume) that the neck has bent. However the biggest problem is that the bottom part of my cello started to crack open! I never mistreated my cello. The back part of my cello and the side part was not glued properly and the back piece of the cello was actually too small to be attached to the side part. That is happening to my upper piece now.I am very disappointed and angry.
