Comments about Cremona SC-175 Premier Student Series Cello Outfit:
I purchased this product through musician's friend and am happy with my purchase. The instrument has a great sound, once you change the strings. That is a must I would say, but that is true of most orchestral string instruments purchased in these types of outfits. The case it comes with is a much higher quality than you would expect for an instrument this price, I am very happy with it.
The one issue I had was with the bow - I only recently started to play the cello but have been playing viola for more than 25 years so am experienced with different types of bows. I can honestly say that the bow that came with this instrument was one of the worst I have ever used. I had a much less expensive cello outfit that came with a better bow than this. So, while I would certainly recommend this product to others because of the quality of instrument and case for the price, I would add the disclaimer that you should definitely be prepared to buy a better bow. I upgraded and it made a huge difference.
