Excellent for the beginning student, the Sinfonia Violins are made of solid woods: a carved seasoned spruce top and figured maple back. Pegs, nut, fingerboard, tailpiece, and saddle are of ebony. Complete Knilling shop adjustment includes Perfection planetary pegs with four Buschman tuners, German maple bridge and D'Addario Prelude strings. Outfit includes thermoplastic case with aluminum valance & strap rings, Glasser fiberglass bow with horsehair, rosin and pitchpipe.
Perfection Planetary Pegs closely match the size, shape, and weight of conventional pegs, thus retaining the physical integrity and traditional appearance of the instrument. The internal fine-tuning mechanism provides for easy, fast and accurate tuning without the use of string adjusters and virtually eliminates sticking or slippage. Comments about Knilling Sinfonia Violin Outfit w/ Perfection Pegs:
The so called "Perfection Pegs" are no better than regular pegs, If anything they may be worst. One little bump can cause the violin go out of tune. Plus THIS VIOLIN DOES NOT HAVE FINE TUNERS. The picture is not correct they don't come with fine tuners.
