Metal drum sample library from the engineering mind of Andy Sneap and utilizing the skills of John Tempesta for EZdrummer users.
Testament, Megadeth, Arch Enemy, Exodus, Killswitch Engage and Devildriver all call the same man to lay the final hand on their albums: Britain's Andy Sneap. This highly in-demand producer/engineer has worked on numerous Grammy Award-nominated albums, is known worldwide for having produced some of the heaviest releases this last decade, and has had an instrumental role in shaping the sound of metal music as we know it in the new millennium. Now Toontrack is proud to present the first-ever drum sample library to bear his unmistakable seal; Metal Machine EZX.
Recorded by powerhouse drummer John Tempesta (White Zombie, Testament, Helmet) in Los Angeles' Henson Recording Studios, formerly known as the A&M Studios, the Metal Machine EZX lacks none of the metal traits you'd expect: the thunderous bass-drums, the ferocious in-your-face snares and the toms that will cut through your mixes with a crystal clear tone to die for.

Metal Machine is by far my favorite EZX. I also own DKFH and Metalheads. DKFH is ok but requires a LOT of post processing and the word hate isn't strong enough to describe how I feel about Metalheads. I was just about to switch to Addictive Drums and give up on EZ because of Metalheads. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one though, Metal Machine sounds REALLY good right out of the box. I do very little post processing to these sounds. That alone was worth the price of admission for me. Sneap and Tempesta really knocked it out of the park with this one, very impressed! You could use this for pretty much anything really, it's not necessarily limited to metal. They are just great sounding drums all around. An excellent addition to any EZ Drummer owners sound library.
