A modern-day classic for powerful orchestral sounds in plug-in form.

Miroslav Philharmonik Classik Edition Module is a full-featured orchestral instrument covering solo instruments and ensembles with 250 sounds spanning the entire orchestra in 1.5GB of samples. Based on the original Miroslav Vitous Symphonic Orchestra sample collection, Miroslav Philharmonik CE has a musicality and playability rarely found in other orchestral sample collections. There has never been a body of work that has captured the same depth and beauty of the feeling and emotions of real players quite like the collection assembled by Miroslav Vitous. Sampled in the Dvorák Symphony Hall (one of the best sounding halls in the world) with true spatial positioning, the sounds fit together when layering or multitracking. Miroslav Philharmonik CE brings to you a complete and beautiful sounding orchestral product at a price that any musician can afford, only a fraction of the cost of the original Miroslav Vitous Symphonic Orchestra sample collection, but with the same acoustic quality and realism that is unmatched in the sample world.

Miroslav's sounds have a musicality and playability rarely found in orchestral sample collections
There has never been a body of work that has captured the same depth and beauty of real players putting feeling and emotion into the samples like this collection captured by Miroslav. A highly accomplished musician (one of the founding members of the band Weather Report), Miroslav knew how to bring the most musical aspects of the instruments and players together in a sample collection.

Beautifully sampled in the historic Dvorák Symphony Hall with true spatial positioning
Because Miroslav sampled the orchestral ensembles in their correct spatial acoustic positioning within the Dvorák Symphony Hall in Prague, one of the best sounding halls in the world, the sounds fit together when layering or multi tracking like a high-quality classical music recording. This gives the sounds of Miroslav Philharmonik an especially rare acoustic quality and realism that is unmatched in the sample world.

Based on the original Miroslav Vitous Symphonic Orchestra sample collection
For many years, composers have paid thousands of dollars to get the beauty of the Miroslav Vitous Symphonic Orchestra samples. For the first time, a selection of this award-winning material is finally available at the price that any musician can afford with 1.5GB of samples and 250 sounds, for a fraction of its original cost. Miroslav Philharmonik CE is one of the most affordable, complete, and beautiful sounding orchestra product in its range.

    Sounds
Miroslav orchestral samples have an inspirational and emotional quality that is unique for symphonic arrangements and compositions. Acoustically captured in the correct spatial placement of orchestral positioning, they've been a first choice for scoring numerous films, productions and soundtracks for composers worldwide. Beautifully recorded at the Dvorák Symphony Hall in Prague by Miroslav Vitous, these sounds have texture, warmth, and beauty that are unmatched in the sample world.

Miroslav Philharmonik will include 250 orchestral sounds and 1.5GB of sample material. All the Miroslav Philharmonik sounds can be opened by SampleTank 2.

Miraslov Philharmonik Works Fine For Me

    By Steven Obenour

Comments about IK Multimedia Miroslav Philharmonik Classik Edition Orchestral Virtual Instrument Module:

    .
I will admit right away the I had some problems getting this application launched since I am a newbe, but I now have all of the promised features working.

I think a lot of the problems may arise dut to insufficient resources. A couple of years ago I tried to install Gigstudio on an older system with low memory resources. The program NEVER ran at all so I gave up.

Well six years later I decided to try again since I am now running a new i7 quad 4 with about 6GB of RAM.

Right out of the box I had terrible audio quality. The tech support at IK only responded to say that they had a good product with "world class audio quality". Well I did some search and found out that my audio problems were due to the buffer and latency setting being way too low. Once I adjusted them with the slider bar the quality was very good.

As for MIDI channels and layering, I did have problems getting my input drivers to work but after a couple of hours of tinkering and reading the tech manuals I got them fully functional as well.

My first intent was to use this with Band In a Box, but I have given up because the program is not GM compatable so I decided to use it as a stand alone. It works fine as with my sequencer program or on its own so it should work with any VST host as long as the bit sizing is correct.

Now I am looking into ASIO audio to see if I can improve further.

    No support

    By Moshkito

Comments about IK Multimedia Miroslav Philharmonik Classik Edition Orchestral Virtual Instrument Module:

With all due respect to a program that supposedly sounds nice, this appears to be bugged and there is no support for it. The instalation of this version is not pulling up instruments properly and neither can you build layers as the screen controls are all locked up ... you can only hear/play the first one.It took a re-instalation for the program to respond to that first layer, btw ...Sadly, if all you needed was a single layer ... you can get it for free on the Internet ... the expense and the lack of support on this is simply not worth it.
