Comments about Nady HM-1 Headset Microphone:

For my application this was to be plugged into my yamaha motif and used as a vocodor mic. That means I had to use an adapter cable to change plug from XLR to 1/4". When I did that the gain was poor, I couldnt even crank the gain enough to generate enough volume level. Any other mic has no problem with this

Second, the XLR plug is the heaviest thing on the entire unit. Which is fine, however the cord is so short it causes the XLR to be hanging creating a pull in the already thin-thin wire.

It just didnt work for my application

I love this mic

By Dan Smith

from New England

Comments about Nady HM-1 Headset Microphone:

For the price, this is a great mic.
I have been using this mic onstage now for over eight months. I love it, and the people tell me it sounds great. It is very light weight and easy to adjust. I plug it into the XLR and clip it on my belt.
Yes, the wire is thin, but if your careful with it, it will be fine. After eight months, mine still works great.
You can't find value like this anywhere.

Don't waist your money

Comments about Nady HM-1 Headset Microphone:

The wire is too thin, it is going to brake inside the xlr connector, and can't be fixed. Soldered it, but still didn't work. Me and my co-worker bought to use inside atour bus PA system, but it was good for a week. then the wire inside the xlr plug broke and never worked again. Very poor quality.

Sorry Nady.....

By Man_With_A_Drum

from Scott Depot, WV

Comments about Nady HM-1 Headset Microphone:

I'm a drummer who still owns this mic, but only got to use it a few times....I hate griping about stuff, but honestly, this is a piece of junk.....It doesn't produce enough sound.it has a bad frequency curve, no high end or low end, just muffled..the line to the xlr plug is too flimsy and It broke twice without serious tension...I got the plug fixed, and it came apart again....I fixed it myself, and then somthing went wrong with the actual mic.....I don't use it anymore. I just stick with regular mics....I plan on buying another headset mic, but I will never buy anything from nady again.....save your money and buy somthing good....
