Free yourself from the limitations of floor monitors!
The Shure P6HW hardwired Personal Stereo Monitor is a 2-channel system designed to replace loudspeakers used for onstage monitoring. The P6HW has several advantages over onstage monitor loudspeakers: it's less visible, offers improved clarity and control of sound, and reduces the chance of feedback. This portable, lightweight unit also allows freedom of movement while reducing stage clutter. Designed for use in many different sound reinforcement applications: public address, live music, studio recording, broadcast, and theater.

Comments about Shure P6HW Hardwired Personal Monitor Bodypack:
I wanted to leave a review since there were none out there when I was considering buying mine a few weeks ago. I am a New Orleans drummer touring year round and made the switch from floor monitors to in ear monitors (custom molded quad-drivers) 3 weeks ago. Although the in ear monitor sound takes a little getting used to, I have been so happy to not have ringing ears after the shows each night. The ability to switch it back and forth from stereo to 2 individual mono channels is a necessity that allows me to be prepared in certain situations when the monitor console is limited on aux outputs. Also, the built in limiter saved me from a loud feedback spike the other night which was nice. I considered building a rack setup with a mixer and a 2 channel compressor/limiter/gate. I ordered everything and when I realized how huge the rig was and how much stage space it would take up each night, I sent it all back and ordered the P6HW. Same outcome with about 1/100th of the size. It is very durable with its metal casing and my 9 volt batteries have lasted way longer than the 12 hour life span from the user manual. I haven't had to use the 15 db pad yet or the high frequency boost. I would recommend it to anyone who is considering a hard wired setup. I did research for about 6 months for making the purchase and there aren't too many alternatives to this belt pack. It's crazy to see how many drummers in huge touring bands actually use these, yet there are barely any reviews of it out on the internet.
