This is the tenor sax version of the Antigua Power Bell series, the Antigua TS4240 tenor saxophone. Contemporary design, premium materials, impeccable craftsmanship and road-worthy reliability team up to make the Power Bell a classic. From the closely guarded processes of annealing the body, the large bell flare (for enhanced projection and richer tone), the design of the neck, the size and placement of the body ribs, to the double key arms on the low C, B and Bb keys (for added strength, faster action and great feel), no amount of detail is spared in the making of the Power Bell. To cap it off, each Power Bell receives exquisite hand engraving and is available in a variety of beautiful finishes. This is a professional quality instrument.

Comments about Antigua Winds Bb Tenor Saxophone:
This sax was delivered in an unplayable condition. There were loose screws, numerous misaligned pads and a bent octave key. The G# and bis screws were not adjusted correctly. Some posts and key rods have excessive movement. The middle D and Eb tones are noticibly flat sounding. This is not a 'pro' quality instrument. I am not comfortable taking this on a gig yet. It would be a better value for a student. It came in a sturdy wooden case with a 4C mouthpiece, a nice padded strap, cork grease and 1 Rico 2 1/2 reed. You can get a more jazzy tone buy upgrading the mouthpiece and reed setup to a wider tip opening. The overall tone is not bad and I will put a few more hours on this horn before I give up. This review is based on the first ten days.
