For the price, a great value!
I ordered a Bois Excellente ligature for my RPC Baritone Sax Mouthpiece, Tenor size, due to the
smaller diameter of the RPC.
It fits perfectly, and holds the reed securely. It is beautifully made, with a metal ring sandwiched between two pieces of very hard plastic, and has a "table" to make sure you have the ligature
properly fitted on the heel of the reed. As a guide, the BOIS name is directly below this area. You
can't go wrong.
I was immediately surprised that each reed, whether cane or synthetic (Hahns, Hartmanns) was
more responsive, and noticeably more free blowing. Try out one of these for any mouthpiece!
