Temporary Replacement

Comments about DEG Replacement Baritone Saxophone Cases:

The DEG Replacement Baritone Sax Case that I bought here has all the features its maker promises--big, versatile, plush--and it has accomodated my classic large-bell bari sax quite well so far. However, after only one year and only indoor storage use, this case is self-destructing! The adhesive that holds the inside padding and lining is crumbling, and releasing the pads and fabric. There are also issues with warping of the wood shell and misalignment of meeting edges and latches, but these are minor compared to the disintegration of the interior. Soon I will have to put that sax back in its 70-year-old original case!
