OVERVIEW

Student alto with pro features and an accessory package.

Made out of fine metals for superior tone production with an attractive finish, the Etude EAS-100 is the perfect instrument for starting out on the alto saxophone. It is solid, reliable and available for a great price. The keywork, pads, and adjustment all work together to make tone production easier, more consistent, and stronger. And the bell brace and construction help make it as durable as possible. Particularly notable in this regard are the bracing on the underside of the neck and the bell-to-body brace. It also has a nice, strong metal palm rest. Includes case, mouthpiece, cap, and ligature.

Etude believes believe that price should not be a barrier to experiencing the growth and joy that comes from making music. That’s why Etude offers you five of the most popular woodwind and brass instruments at an incredible price: flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, and trombone. And no matter which you choose, you get a great design and outstanding construction that will give you years of musical enjoyment.

This bundle includes an alto saxophone care kit, a tuner/metronome combo, a box of 10 alto saxophone reeds (strength 2.5), a black folding music stand, and an Essential Elements 2000 Plus DVD Alto Saxophone Book 1.

Comments about Etude EAS-100 Beginner Student Alto Saxophone Bundle:

My daughter had been using and expensive rental Saxophone. After purchasing this one, she didnt notice much difference and continued to play with nice sound/results. This is her second year playing the Saxophone in Junior High and will continue to make good use of this one. Her instructors at school are pleased.

Very poorly made. Keys don't work and get stuck often, carrying case dose not close properly. The buttons are not glued correctly and will fall off.

Comments about Etude EAS-100 Beginner Student Alto Saxophone Bundle:

This is a great instrument for beginners.
              1. Great price!!! I didn't want to invest alot of money in an instrument for my daughter's first year of band just incase she changed her mind and didn't want to stay in band or wanted to change instruments.
              2. Great Bundle!!! I am not a muscian and i didnt know what all she needed. So this package made it easy to get everything she needed at one time.
              3. Shipping was fast
              4. The instrument looked great, nice and shinny. Sounded good, I guess. I couldn't really tell because she is just learning, but her instructor said it sounds like it is suppose to.
5.I would add a neck stap ( $5-$15)because they are sometimes ackward to hold and they can get heavy after a while, so a strap made it easier to handle.
6.You dont have to,but I opted for the minimum 2 yr warrenty just beacause my daughter is very clumbsy and I wanted a little protection for her first 2 years. I figured after that she should be better at handling the instrument.
