Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
Second purchase of these reeds. As a result I may be the Saxophonist in our band least likely to be messing with my reed. With these reeds (and the 4 I use for Jazz) I can play the WHOLE range (low Bb to altismisso F or what ever).

Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. She was worried when only one reed arrived in the mail because she was replacing them every week, it's been a month and she's still very happy with it. She sounds better which I was attributing to extra practice but she says part of the better sound is from the reed, she explained that some reeds make notes sound squeaky...If she's happy with it I am too!

Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
I have used the fibracal Reed for 23 years since another professional introduced it to me. It gives me instant response without soaking and lasts for at least six months. The cost is well worth it.

Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
Great tone. When you open the package, you just put it on your mouthpiece and go. You don't even have to test it. These reeds are consistently good and dependable.
These reeds are consistent and have a great playability. Unlike cane reeds, when you open a new fibracell, you know it's going to work.
Lasts a long time.
Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
Went they become fatigue it is hard to notice, just may sure it is replaced once they become a little flat sound.
Out dry they play perfect, no need to humidify it. Excellent ;sound, it is an improvemnt from any real cane reed I have ever used.
They last about 3 month with a constant use.
For the price of one you can save 2 months of real cane reeds.
Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
I bought this for my daughter half way through the school year. She sounded better right away. I had tried several brands of traditional reeds and she just sounded ok, so I thought I would try it. She prefers it also, no need to moisten for a long time. At the end of her first year she was first chair. She started on the 3, now I am going to reorder and get the 3.5. Her comments are: it is easier to play, doesn't chip as easily and less squeaking.
Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
I play the Fibracell 3.5 reeds with a C* mpc on my vito alto. They never fail. After about 6 months, they seem to soften a little, but have good tone, and you never have to worry about them once you get them broken in. I find that breaking in takes 20-30 minutes of playing.
Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
Just tried the fibracell Alto 3 reed. This is EASILY the best reed I have ever played on. The sound and feel are great, and they're made right here in the US! Will most likely never play a conventional reed again after this.
Comments about Fibracell Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed:
I have been using Fibracell since 2000 on my tenor and have nothing but praise for it. It's been consistant for long term use. What the other reviewers have discovered is what I have experienced all of these years. Makes great music.
