I have been playing for 15 years. This reed is the best that I have ever used! I have always used real reeds, this is my first synthetic . . . I will not be going back to real reeds.

I have used Fibracell Premier reeds for a couple of years when I need a brighter sound than that from conventional reeds. This batch may have been mis-branded, because the #4 reeds were so soft as to be unplayable. Musician's Friend exchanged the three defective Fibracell reeds for a box of ten Rico Reserve at the same price.

My daughter said she squeeked less.
she hasn't played with it long enough to really tell.
I can't really assess this yet....we'll see how long it lasts my daughter, before she needs to replace it.

This is my second reed purchased during the last year. I practice daily and I have learned so much about my instrament, because It has taken away the frustration of wundering if the reed is giving me problems. I recommend this product to any beginner. Maybe someday I can say that I recommend this product to everyone, but I still have a lot to learn.
This is a good practice tool. You don't have to fool around with wetting and warming it up before you can play. If you get squeeks, you can eliminate the reed as a problem after checking the alignment on the mouthpiece. You don't have to try other reeds.
There is a courseness to the feel of the reed, probably because of the fiber, but it doesn't take much to get used to it. I am a novice and some of the feel is probably due to my beginner embusher.

This reed is much softer than a cane 2.5 reed. Cannot play upper register in tune.

I've played clarinet for too many years to mention. I recently ordered one each of the various brands of synthetic reeds to give them a try. The Fibracell reed is amazing! I will never play a cane reed again.
Something worth mentioning is there is no break in or conditioning needed and they don't need to be wet. I place my reed and immediately have a consistent, crisp tone - every time.
I'm playing a concert that starts off with a high C which can be terrifying when there's a few thousand people waiting for that first note! Fortunately, this reed allows me to know I'll be ready to go with no worries.

Give these reeds a try if you are tired of searching for the perfect reed out of a whole box, will not disapoint you.
This is the best reed I have ever used. Easy to play on and seems to last forever. Will not play on a traditional reed ever again, very good tone also.
Excellent value. I used to buy a box of wooden reeds and fine one or two that play well, Fibracell plays well consistantly from the first time it is used. No more searching through a box of reeds.
