Move about with ease and comfort!

The Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag features several ways to transport your instrument, great protection, and room for a lot of accessories. Four wheels and a six position, telescoping handle make using the bag smooth with a customizable level of comfort. An extendable bottom base will help prevent the bag from tipping over. If wheeling the bag isn't possible, padded backpack straps or a thick shoulder strap make carrying comfortable. A padded flap conveniently folds over the wheels for both comfort and to protect clothing from dirt. Gard Bags are known for their high-quality protection, and the Wheelie Bag Series is no exception. Dense foam surrounds the saxophones and padded blocks can be placed where they best fit for maximum stability. An expandable exterior pocket provides more than enough room for accessories, music, and even a few personal items. To protect the bag during rain, a rain cape fits snuggly around the outside of the case. This cape also has a reflective logo to make sure you're noticed in the dark. There is not another bag that provides so many options and high quality protection at such an affordable price.

Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:

Adequate sized wheels and handle. Back-pack staps. Sturdy zippers. Adjustable/removeable pads for sides and bottom. Very flexible: will hold two tenors or two altos or two sopranos; tenor & alto; tenor and soprano; alto & soprano. I now have two saxes in one pack which I can wear as a back-pack so my hands are free to open doors, etc.

Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:

Overall the bag is well constructed, and has plenty of room for my Tenor and Alto sax, and I also can carry my flute (with a French case) easily in the side pocket. I wish the bag had a side handle so it would be easier to load it in the trunk of my car, but that's not a deal breaker. Having this bag also allows for more trunk space in my car for other items or gear. Great gig back, and has that wonderful leather smell when you first open it!

Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:

OK, I was looking for a way to get tenor and soprano saxes in one bag for flying, so they were just one carry-on item. I searched and searched for any reviews that mentioned flying, but found none. So for the benefit of those like myself, NO this will not fit in the overhead. It is a monstrosity that is more like an oversized golf bag than an instrument case. That being said, big thumbs up for quality. I bought the most expensive all-leather version. Case looks to be ultra-protective for a soft-side. Love the wheels, and really love the backpack straps. Very well-thought-out and well made case. Just way, way too big. If they got rid of all the huge pockets protruding from every side, that would be a help. Pictures online don't really show how wide this baby is. This might be a good solution for the few who need tenor and alto in the same bag on wheels, but not a good choice for the traveling musician. I will look into the tenor-only version, but this one is going back unused.

Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:

The double Tenor and Sop. leather wheelie is almost perfect, but they should have added a side luggage handle, to carry the bag up and down stairs. Very difficult when you carrying a tenor, and sop. The old design was good with the luggage handle on the side. There is still room enough to add handle without taking away the side pockets. A person must be very strong to lift full bag when walking up, and down stairs.

Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:

The GARD Wheelie bags are an oustanding solution for safe and convenient transport of saxes...especially with the dual sax configurations. I purchased this bag, but when it arrived noted that the "cones" that fit in the bell of my saxophone would not stay in place because the soft-side Velcro was not there. In photos it showed the soft-side velcro would line the entire flap that opens up to put in/remove the saxes. But discovered, after two tries with the lowest cost GARD Wheelie bag, that the lowest price model cuts corners, one of them being only have the soft-sided material on a portion of the flap...at the top. So, the bell "cone" would not adhere to the flap, thus leaving my tenor flopping around in the slot. I then went up to the next model (leather trim) which DID have the fully lined soft-velcro material and the bell "cone" then worked to hold my tenor in place while transporting it. Bottom line...the concept is great, but you'll have to buy the more expensive models if you want the case to viably protect your horn(s)! I expressed my opinion to Musician's Friend and another major music retailer that they should reject these cases until GARD fixes this important issue. My new, more expensive model, is AWESOME!
