Comments about Hall G Crystal Flute:
I just got the Hall Crystal Flute in G, ivy design. The glass design is easy to clean, and the rounded edges and shape of the finger holes and sound hole were precise. It came in a well padded box and has an overall look and feel of quality. I had struggled to play metal and bamboo transverse flutes before, but found it easy to begin getting good tone with this instrument right away. The diatonic scale is great for folk tunes and with no moving parts it will last until you break it. The G key is a nice middle range key, and the octave up was easy to call as desired. However, the lower register is about 50 cents sharp on my chromatic tuner, making it less useful for playing along with others.
