Comments about Hamilton Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Peg:
Got for my niece who plays 2 instruments in her school concerts. Was very helpful for her-She said. She said it took a little getting used to when taking her tenor sax off the stand. Said it was Sturdy. Looked nice on stage.
Nice having the Clarinet peg
Comments about Hamilton Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Peg:
I've used one of these stands for over 20 years now, and it's still tight and stable. It has gotten a lot of abuse at home and at gigs, getting kicked, stepped on, stuff piled on top of it in the band van, folded and unfolded about a million times, etc., but it still works great. It folds into a nice compact package that fits into the side pocket of my Pro Tec case. I've never had a sax fall out of it even when I need to swap instruments quickly in the middle of a song. I also like the chrome finish and the fact that this is probably the only sax stand that is still MADE IN THE USA. The clarinet/flute peg is detachable if you don't double.
Comments about Hamilton Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Peg:
There are much more sturdy stand out there, but I was always envious of the trumpet player that could just throw a little stand in their bell and go. I own a more stable K&G stand that I keep in more permanent places, but This stand fits very well in the over sized pocket of my protec alto case and is very very handy to have everywhere my sax is. I use it most because it is there more, and I trust it. it seems less sturdy, but I have intentionally rocked it pretty hard and it has never tipped or fallen out/over. I do recommend. *Note that it probably wont fit in a traditional/standard square case.
Comments about Hamilton Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Peg:
My saxaphone fell off this stand for no apparent reason and was damaged. It is not very secure, although others I've seen aren't any better.
Comments about Hamilton Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Peg:
This stand is a durable stand and works great for an alto. But when I put my tenor in it, it seemed to move around alot. The top claw is wide and the saxophone rocks back and forth on it.
