Comments about Hercules Stands TravLite Alto Saxophone Stand:

Be aware - This does not fit down into the bell of all alto saxophones. I have an H-Couf Superba-I alto and a Buscher student alto. This stand goes into the bells of both of these but it won't go all the way. There are a couple of inches sticking out with both horns. The H-Couf won't go in the case with the stand in it, but there's enough "slop" in the case of the Buscher to allow it ot go in. That said, it does fold down very small. As for stability, the legs won't fold up until you want them to, but the stand will sway side-to-side by about 2" either way. Just enough to make me nervous. It'll probably work, but I will worry about my horn. For this money - I wouldn't think that should be the case.
