I have been playing this horn for the past year. It has it's good and bad points. It is responsive and does not take much effort to produce a sound. That being said, there are some notes that just won't tune. The throat tones (A,A-flat,B-flat) are very difficult to produce a good, quality tone. It also seems that the longer I practice on the horn, the more unresponsive it becomes. This horn would be good for the beginner. But, if you have been playing for a while and want a better sound quality, I suggest saving up and getting the next horn up in quality.

This is awesome! My grandpa found mine and gave it to me and I'm gonna fix it up. I used to play alto sax but this is nice.
