    this ligature is truly spectacular. its gold plated, i think, regardless its beautiful. its nice and sturdy. as far as tone and playability it gives a nice edgy tone and depending on which screw you tighten you can get a warm or bright tone. it is truly versatile. if you put the patch that it comes with on the mouthpiece and tighten the lig enough itll hold well enough to tune if youre careful. the only thing i can say though is you might want to use some valve oil on the screws to lubricate them. when you first get the lig the screws stick a little.

    Olegature for Otto Link Metal

    Comments about Olegature Saxophone Ligature:

    I recently purchased an Otto Link STM Metal mouthpiece for my tenor sax and the ligature that came with it is not the best. I did some research on line and found the Olegature to be an option. It is one of a very few that will fit the OL due to the rib that sticks up on top of the mouthpiece. So I bit the bullet and paid the price and was instantly impressed when I tried it out. It very much improved the playability of the mouthpiece. Making the low notes and throat tones speak much easier. The high notes are also clean and pure. It does exactly what I needed it to do. It supports the reed much better than the origanal and increases the playablity. I would Highly recommend the Olegature. Make sure you get the right size for your mouthpiece. The 04 fits the Otto Link metal for tenor.
