I purchased a set of these stands to use with my high school jazz band, and they've held up very well over the years. The instruments stay put in the stands with no tipping, and the finish on the stands doesn't mar the saxophones at all.The only thing that's not as friendly is the portability of the stands. They're not going to fit in any instrument cases - but we just take a box for the sax stands and we're good to go. For the price, you can't go wrong...it's much better than sitting the instrument on the floor. You can't get one key fixed for the price of this stand.

This stand is low quality. It is not very small when folded up and is quite heavy. That's what you would expect for the price you pay. It gets the job done. It holds the saxophone and clarinet/flute and that's all it really needs to do.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She plays the Alto Saxophone. I wanted to ensure during practice she had a safe place to put her instrument when she need a break.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Flute/Clarinet Peg:

This sax stand holds either my alto or tenor sax securely and I have confidence when placing a horn onto it. The base is solid and the rubber feet prevent sliding. Although it is constructed very well, I would recommend it for medium duty ( 1 or 2 gigs per week); more frequent users may want a one piece, heavier duty stand. Before use, one must assemble the two pieces (easy), and one or two small bungee cords or elastic rings make storage or transportation a snap. The addition of the clarinet/flute peg helps to make this stand worth twice the price.

EXTREMELY GOOD VALUE.Saves from assemble and disassemble of sax and clarinet,or sax and flute.Just keep it all on stand,at home,on display when not playing.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Flute/Clarinet Peg:

Only using it for my Alto at this time. I'm certain it would work well with a Tenor (or C). The lower support on the stand rests on the caging that protects the low B & B-flat keys so my Alto sits at a bit of an angle. Not a problem, just worth mentioning.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand with Flute/Clarinet Peg:

We needed a solid stand to keep my son's alto "handy" so he can grab it and play easily. He is just starting and getting his horn out and putting it away every time was half the battle. Now it's out and ready when he is. This stand is staying put so it will not be folded and travel at all. It is solid, well built and meets our needs perfectly. At this price point it is especially hard to go wrong. It's a great deal.

My home made stand will be relegated to the '79
Yamaha Tenor and the King Silversonic can stop
                  getting scratched up now.
