      these are ok for when you are JUST starting out, and have never picked up any kind of instrament, but after a little while, toss the rico's. they get soft quickly. once they get soft, switch to a different brand. alll of the other saxaphonist i know, including myself, use vandoran.

      After trying so many boxes of the highest quality of reeds I find that I got more percentage of real good reed from this 25 pack. The sound came as no difference between these and the very most expensive reeds. No box has ever had per quantity of good reed like these. Why pay more?
