    you gotta pick something and stick with it.
    For Tenor reeds I like em.

    In the 35 years of playing a tenor, i've used many different brands and styles, the V-16 is simply the best reed available!!

    van doren v-16 tenor reeds

    Comments about Vandoren Tenor Sax V16 Reeds:

    These are the most consistent reeds I've ever played. They run about one-half strength stiffer than the Van Doren ZZ reeds. I liked the ZZ's because they are responsive, but they tend to collapse prematurely. The V-16's really retain their initial crispness.
