      First off I buy these for my son, he plays the Tenor Sax in High School, he's been playing for about 6 years now…So it goes without saying that I have bought a fair amount of reeds over time…Because it was convenient, I was buying them at a local music stores that caters to mostly band instruments…But their prices were not friendly, it finally dawned on me to check out Musician's Friend and bam, now I'm buying them for about 40% less…And if you check with Musicians Friend from time to time, they even put them on sale…My son loves this particular reed the 3 1/2, everyone is gonna have their own likeness in strength to blow, sound etc…But we are delighted with the quality, sound and of course price of these reeds…

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Great reed for beginners to advanced sax players.

      Great reeds. I have used these reeds since a starter and I love them. Vandoren reeds give a clean deep sound without giving complications to the musician. It also is a durable reed that you don't need to replace every two weeks.
