A guitar part with fantastic fidelity and graphic EQ.
Preamp and under-saddle guitar pickup featuring B-Band's proprietary patented electret film technology.
A5 preamp features 3-band EQ and volume sliders. Rotary feedback controls, including notch depth and frequency. Phase switch and low-battery LED. All hardware with prewired high-quality endpin jack and 9-volt battery clip.
Unlike piezo pickups, the acoustic soundboard transducer is never quacky or trebly. Works like a condenser mic for natural sound and low feedback. The AST (acoustic soundboard transducer) provides unprecedented natural acoustic sound, even at high volume levels. Bigger 14mm pickup surface acts to capture detailed acoustics of the instrument without sounding boxy. All the advantages of a microphone, without feedback and positioning hassles. Attaches to the guitar's bridge plate with a special 2-sided tape. String balance is always even. An ultrathin, flexible, and rugged constant structure all the way to the preamp. Connection to the preamp is an easy "plug in" without soldering.

I was considering buying a Taylor 614ce because of how great the Expression pickup system is but I played a Larrivee that was stock loaded with the B band A5 pickup and it beats it by a longshot with its crisp, clear sound every note can be individually heard and every string resounds with a distinct presence. Overall a phenominal pickup.
