OVERVIEW

Strings heavy enough to handle your hardest riffs.

Designed specifically for alternative tunings such as Drop D, Drop C and Drop C#, Cleartone Monster Heavy sets feature heavier gauge strings for that extra tension you need. At one micron thin, the "No Feel Coating" EMP Treatment is then applied to all 6 strings to ensure longest tonal life without compromises. Monster Heavy Series are heavy duty, but with 3-5 times the lifespan.

Comments about Cleartone Monster Heavy Series Nickel-Plated Drop C Electric Guitar Strings:

my dad got these strings setup for me at guitar center 2 days ago on with my new LTD viper 10 i got on the same day i got them i mainly use these strings for C standard and drop A# i don't see how i can use these for drop C but their still amazing strings and also the G string (the 22p) was plain and a 22 is too thick to be plain so i substituted it with the D string (24w) from the set of 9's but i didn't use the heavy series version of the 9's because i heard the wounds strings in the heavy series have a thicker core on the wound strings i like that on my bottom 3 wound strings but if my G string was wound i would prefer it has a thinner core so i can bend it easier so i just replaced the 22p with the D string from the regular version of the 9's but other than the plain G string these are great strings and you should check them out
