Comments about D'Addario ECB80SL Chromes Flat Wound Super Soft/Long Bass Strings:

Actually, I bought the Super Long Scales to get just a little more length for the G string but actually they are the same length as the regular Long Scales. Sometimes my Lakeland Duck Dunn has a problem with the G string to hold when wrapping it at the peg. I had to figure out how to get it to hold. Anyway, Chromes have a great sound that's not as brite as roundwounds. I would recommend the Super Light Gauge as the Regular light gauge are too heavy.
