OVERVIEW

DR's most popular electric guitar string set.

Tite-Fit roundwound nickel-plated electric guitar strings are designed to be a great all-around string available in a wide range of gauges. Based on a round core, the construction techniques for the Tite-Fit electrics are very old. However, the core wire and wrap wire in DRs are the latest, most advanced and expensive metals available. Use Tite-Fit strings for flexibility, tone, and long life. These guitar strings sound great for rock, blues, heavy metal, and jazz.

Comments about DR Strings Tite-Fit MH-10 Medium-Heavy Nickel Plated Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings are pretty much the best around. Long life, easy bends, decent sound, good feel. However, Dr Strings are expensive in general, but I guess it's worth it to many people. I can play any genre with these, but I wouldn't say it's exceptionally better for any genre. It's just an all-around, good quality string.

Comments about DR Strings Tite-Fit MH-10 Medium-Heavy Nickel Plated Electric Guitar Strings:

I like the tone and feel of this light/medium gauge set as used on my semi-hollow guitar which has a Duncan 59 bridge and is setup correctly. I replaced the zinc tailpiece with an aluminum piece as to tame an undesirable boominess in the lows and went with this DR set as the heavier bottom gauge strings add a little bit of needed depth and balanced things out quite nicely. They are clear, bend quite easily, have decent output and seem to be well made though time will tell how durable they are. Trey Anastasio's choice of string is my choice too.
