Comments about Ernie Ball 2802 Flat Wound Group I Electric Bass Strings:
I used the ernie power slinky bass strings for the equal scale size of the guage. Then I decided switching up to the flat wound theseare the same guages as the powers, They are much faster due to the smooth surface. I would recommend them to anyone with a fast playing style. Also a REAL musician knows that any string you buy loses tone fairly fast, its just part of playing all the time{:-)

When I pulled these out of the package I knew they would be great on my fretless bass which needed a good string replacement. I would recomend these to anyone who was looking for flatwound strings
