Comments about Eurolite AC-LPR120 Rolling LP Case:
I own five of these cases, and will certainly purchase more in the future. I currently use two of them for my 12" records that travel, and three others to carry lighting equipment (color changers).
In each lighting case, I would estimate an 80lb load, and these boxes can handle it easily.
All of the hardware is sturdy, and the build quality is excellent. These cases are very rigid; the walls do not flex. The lids align and fit perfectly, even when switched from one case to another. The wheels on the end come in very handy for maneuvering the case into position once you have it loaded into your ride.
From April to December, my lighting cases are loaded onto and out of vans constantly. Stacked up, stacked on, knocked around, even knocked over on occasion! The oldest of my AC-LPR120s are about four or five years, and you wouldn't know which ones are the oldest. Even the plating on the latches and corners is still bright and shiny.
The only change that I would suggest would be to replace the soft foam lining with a stiffer foam stock. The lining inside the lid tends to snag on the corners of your record albums when the lid is being placed back onto the case, causing the lining to eventually tear away from the sides of the lid.
I could not build a case of this quality on my own at this price. ...and shipped free? Forget about it. If you need a sturdy case to protect your records or gear, and you got a strong enough back to lift a heavy stack of wax, this is the case for you.
