Comments about Everly 7212 Acoustic Sessions Phosphor/Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I found these strings to blurr the notes together.
I wish I could put my finger on what it is, but the best way for me to say it is they lack in overall depth and clarity. mostly when moving note to note.

I have used 8 other Brands, Love these strings not just for sound but last longer than others even other people I gave them to to try loved them and are now the strings they use. But do not take my word for it try them you will agree and will also switch to them.
Comments about Everly 7212 Acoustic Sessions Phosphor/Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I've been using these Everly 7212s for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased. I would say they're a little mellower than the D'Addario EJ-16s and the Clapton's Choice light gauges I usually use. The Everlys may usually be a few cents more expensive than the other strings but, if, for a while, you want a mellower sound, they're a very good choice.
Comments about Everly 7212 Acoustic Sessions Phosphor/Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
These Everly Acoustic strings are great. I have had these on my Martin acoustic for two weeks now, and the sound is warm and mellow, not like the bright, tinny sound you get from other strings - I've tried several. Try these strings, I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do. Next, I'm going to try Everly 10's.
Comments about Everly 7212 Acoustic Sessions Phosphor/Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I first heard about these strings because Tom Petty uses them and I love the acoustic sound that TP gets in the studio (and yes I know a lot of that comes from having an expensive Martin and a nice studio). However, having said that - I fell in love with these strings the first time I used them and immediately ordered several sets to string ALL of my acoustic guitars with - including my Ovation 12-String. Nice tone and long-lasting. I had tried Elixir and coated Martins so I wouldn't have to change the strings out so often but didn't like the tone. The Everly's give me both good sound and long usage. They sound good in the studio especially if you mic the guitar rather than take a convenient line-out. One last point, I recently bought the Acoustic-Electric version. They are really bright but not quite as good sounding as these.
Comments about Everly 7212 Acoustic Sessions Phosphor/Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I have been playing guitar for over 30 years. I am very demanding when it comes to strings. My main gear is a RainSong. What I look for in strings are tone, playability, and tuning stability. Strings that squeek don't make my list!
I had never heard of Everly strings until recently so I decided to give them a try. I would rate these strings very highly as they meet most of my personal preferences. The only downside I would report on is playability. I play mostly leads and I work the fretboard quite a bit. I find the tension on these strings to be noticeably higher. But keep in mind, higher tension means better tone. So if you are looking for great tone, these strings are worth considering.
Comments about Everly 7212 Acoustic Sessions Phosphor/Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I am a newbie, but I can tell you these strings sound real good. I have tried several strings and really tried to hear the differences. These strings are high quality and make a big difference in sound. With these strings, you can't go wrong. They are excellent.
