Long-lasting strings from a tradition of innovation.
Designed for guitarists that use drop tuning, the D-Tuned series are the heaviest Strings you will ever play.
The Galli Musical Strings Company was established by Tommaso Galli in 1890. At that time musical strings were handcrafted using gut. In 1950 Roberto Galli, Tommaso's son, joined the firm. Roberto inherited the talent of his father, and, in time, became like his father a great expert, a maestro, in the art of musical string making. In the 1970s, Galli Strings introduced new technologically advanced equipment into their production process.
Roberto Galli's son, Tommaso, joined the company in 1985. Building on his grandfather's and father's musical and technical achievements, Tommaso Galli has extended into the twenty-first century the Galli tradition of developing and manufacturing fine musical strings.

Comments about Galli Strings D660 D-TUNED Electric Guitar Strings 10-60:
As a rhythm guitarist I was getting tired of not being able to shred because of super tense, thick, cheese-wire treble strings .13 on up
These are perfect for C# standard on my 25.5" scale guitar, Surprisingly though, they do get a bit floppy below that which I wouldn't expect of a .60. Nothing real bad though, not enough to keep me out of C standard >:}
I haven't broken them in completely yet, so maybe this aspect will go away, but I swear even considering that, these strings are pretty bright, and they seem to have a very metallic, mechanical tone to them. I have no idea why that is and again it might go away or diminish after more use. I personally really like it
Really cool strings! I looked up Galli's site and found they had another 6-string that was .12-.70! (D670 the one with a pink and black skull on the box)
Musiciansfriend please stock that set if possible!
