This hi-hat stand operates with a direct-lever-pull drive, which offers fast quiet action and direct response. Gibraltar hi-hat stands are known for being smooth, fast and solid. Drum hardware from the 9600 Series come with Gibraltar's exclusive Quick Release Rock Plate. This unique plate improves the overall feel and action of each hi-hat and assembles and disassembles quickly and easily with a drum key.
