The Gibraltar Double Drop Clutch gives double bass players three different hi-hat sounds that normal drop clutches are not able to make. There are two color coded levers that allow the player to achieve two different open settings; the partially open sizzle sound, as well as the wide open sound with the foot engaged in normal hi-hat operation. Once the clutch is completely disengaged, the hi-hat drops and gives off a closed sloshy sound when played.
