I'm not the first to do all 10s. I usually happen to find a flaw. There are gripes I have with this case, but it has such good engineering and build quality i don't care. if i had to think of some flaws, it would be that my bass (ibz sr505) has a light neck and the position of the handle body dives the case. but really that is a GOOD thing if you happen to have let's say a thunderbird bass. anyway the construction is top notch, really. compartments, stitchings, shoulder straps even! it is just as protective as a hardshell (probably MORE protective than a badly designed hard case) but weighs less and has better features. i don't know why i've never heard of this brand, but i can understand if they spent all their time on this product. it's great, really.

It's very light weight and I really wanted to like it. But beware: There's not much room inside to fit the body of the bass. It barely fits my Ibanez bass and does not fit my Peavey bass which is similar to a Jazz bass. One of the lids on the inner compartment came off after one day. Also, the shoulder straps at their maximum length are too short. You can barely fit one arm through and it's uncomfortably tight.

Not much more to say.
This case does everything you could want. Keeps your guitar more than protected from any normal travel. I take my bass out of the house 3 times a week, and never worry about damaging my gear, or my bass getting knocked out of tune. It has 3 pockets with exterior access that are large enough to hold cords, music, strings, direct box, etc. Plus two decent sized storage compartments inside the case. I own an Ibanez and the fit is more than sufficient, but there is still room for a bass with a longer scale. This case gives all the benefits of a hard shell and a gig bag, without any of the negatives. When I need another case it will buy a second one..
Really well built. Strong closures, Off-set handle to make the case well balanced when full.
I couldn't find a better case for the same money.

I picked this case up for my 5-string. The storage is good. The outer pouches, one big pouch for sheet music and the smaller ones for chords. Inside the covered storage is a nice touch, keeping your smaller stuff, picks, tools, in-ear moniter buds, etc. Didn't care for the little plastic feet coming off after about a few months and the handle coming loose. I'm afraid of the handle coming off all together, very bad. This lining is starting to come loose too.It has housed my bass for about a year and a half - 2 years. Between weekly practices and services every weekend, it has seen a lot. But for the $$$, not bad.
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
My previous gig bag was a freebie fromt the dealer where I bought my Jazz Bass, but I was looking for something that was sturdier yet still easy to carry on my shoulder from home to rehearsals/gigs. I compared all the bags and cases on this website and the Kaces Bass Case seemed to stand out. The case is light, yet very sturdy. The neck and body of my bass fit securely inside. The adjustable shoulder straps are comfortable. The handle is firmly attached. While the top two pockets are pretty shallow, the bottom pocket is very deep and is a great size to store my sheet music/chord charts and not worry about wind or rain getting to them. The only negative comment I have is that the inside storage lids are prettly flimsy. Anything with some weight to it can pop out and bounce around inside. I feel comfortable keeping my bass inside all the time. Plus, its soft but sturdy construction stops marking up the walls (my hardshell case is brutal on the wall). That make my wife happy, therefore I'm happy!!! Definitely recommend this case.
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
I bought this case after my guitar player purchased one. I was duly impressed that a case as lightweight and protective as this one could be had at this price. While it is not a hard case, it is not a gig bag either. It is not cheesy. It is more than substantial enough to guard against the many rigors common to a gigging bassist. There are two compartments in the case and three large pockets on the outside which means ample room inside and out for your "stuff". This is a serious case.

I read a review that this case would fit an Epiphone Thunderbird, which is my giging bass.... yeah, no dice. Luckily my secondary bass fits. If you have a Tbird just get the Epiphone case instead, even though I love the concept and features of this one.
Pros
- Easy To Carry
- Good Protection
- Priceperformance Ratio
- Sturdy
- Stylish
Cons
- Inside Is A Bit Crunchy
Best Uses
- Gig Bag Replacement
- Travel
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
While this may not be the most bulletproof case, I believe the price/performance ratio is good. For me, I will not go back to using gig bags when I can use this. My concerns are of the handle pulling out and the interior deforming if the bass is not placed in like a game of Operation. It's also important to note that the groove for the neck is kind of narrow--it works with Jazz bass nut widths and thinner front-to-back better than for basses with thicker necks.
Pros
- Easy To Carry
- Good Protection
- Sturdy
- Stylish
Cons
Best Uses
- Everyday
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
Bought this to protect my Peavey 5-string, only problem was it wouldn't fit. But my P-bass did so it got a new case, LOL. Thankfully the case the P-bass was in would accomodate the Peavey so all was well. It would be helpful to know in advance if a case would be able to fit a particular product. Anyway, this has been a very useful case. Well made, with lots of storage.
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
I bought this for my Hagstrom FXB-530 bass. (My bass's shape is very close to a jazz or p-bass)It is a great fit! My bass does not move around very much at all. Good neck support, although I think a 5 string bass neck might be too wide. Interior compartments aren't as deep as I would like. Boss TU-2 tuner won't fit in them. Fine for a smaller tuner or a cable. Big outer pocket on top is great! Shoulder straps are there if you want, or tuck away in a back pocket if you don't. Overall a great, sturdy case for a good value! Works well for me going to & from church. If you're looking for a step up from a gigbag, then this is your case!
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
A fine polyfoam-based case that feels solid; the only thing missing is the weight. It isn't without its flaws, however: the bass housing is reversed, one of the inside storage compartment doors quickly came off at the "hinge", and many of the zippered compartments on the outside seem to offer no distinct purpose. Still, it's very solid, and I received quite a few compliments on it. I'll probably purchase another one on receipt of my next bass.

i love this case it holds my les paul perfectly. its extremely light and the inside storage is awesome.i love the backpack straps, with a les paul they make the case/guitar seem extremely light. the whole thing is so durable and sturdy a great buy.
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
This Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case is amazing! I have an Ibanez GSR200FM and it fits snug and securely inside. The two compartments inside are good for holding my picks, a strap, and any other small things I need to bring to a show. The 2 top outer compartments are good to carry cords, mics, and other smaller electronic accessories and the larger pocket could fit sheet music or chord charts if you needed them (or a pint of your favorite booze if you're like me =P).
Comments about Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case:
I didn't have much to spend for a case and I was going to get a basic hardshell case for around the same price as this one, but it didn't have nearly as many features. The pockets are great for carrying cables and even a microphone. Then the two pockets in the case are great for carrying more valued stuff. The back straps are nice too because, face it fellow bassists, basses are bottom heavy and it feels awkward to carry the case like a brief case. Now obviously it's not like these hardshell cases that can be run over by a semi, but it's protective enough not to damage the guitar if it's run into something by accident. Very nice case!
