Everytime I buy one of these cable, the 90 degree jack breaks, and needs to be fixed. But even then, it doesn't last long. I actually bought one for my fried to see if it was just me (and I tried to keep them out of harms way) who was breaking them, but his broke also. I'm sticking just to straight jacks... but who knows, I may just be very unlucky with this cable... (All other Live Wire cables I tested are get all 10s, by the way...)

I have owned several of these and they just don't hold up on the angled end I have to take it off and resolider it and it is fine. I don't know if at the factory they are using bad solider or what but it has happened with all 3 cords I bought at the same time. I will say that the straight cords have not given me any problem at all. My suggestion is to buy ernie straight to angle it is cheaper and a much better cord I have 1 I have had for 10 years. I would not trust this cord on a gig thats all I can say.

This is my 4th Livewire cable, oldest is 5 years, sleeve on the plug tends to be loose at purchase, tighten & no problems at all, used daily.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:

I've been using live wire cables for a long while now and haven't had a problem. I use about a dozen patch cables for my pedal board and three 20' cables for my guitars and I've never had any shorts. Some say since thats all I've used I don't know what i'm missing but i'm perfectly happy with these so far.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:

I purchased 2x 18'6" versions of this cable, and they both worked intermittently and then stopped working completely within the first week. I also purchased straight to straight Live Wire Advantage cables in various lengths that work perfectly fine, so I'm assuming that it's the right angle end that needs some work.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:

This cable is cool. It has clarity it is flexible and easy to pack when giging.this cable is a cable you can trust when you move the head anound you cant hear any thing but what you are playing. I recommend this cable if ur in a metal band because like I said its flexible and wont make static when moving around. By the way I also think it cuts down feedback.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:

Ok, well i had this chord plugged into my Epi amp and SG. After a Month the Angled end had a short then just quit working. I made sure that I took special care of it, but it broke. Also the sound of the cable, was just as good as the one that came with my SG. Buy a better cable, it may cost more but it will last alot longer. I prefer the Fender Electro-volt.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:

The good thing about this cable: It's got a lifetime warranty, so if it breaks, I can take it back and get a new one free, another good thing: the right angle, I broke my old cord without a right angle and I like this idea a lot better, the bad things: it gets bad sound, I have to practically hold it up just to get it to stop getting feedback, also, if its in a pile, it gets bad feedback

This cable worked out only for a while. Now it is a complete pain to work with. I think I am going to throw it away, the chord itself does not transmit sound or anything. The soldering is fine too, so I have no clue what is wrong with it. If you are looking for a good cable, don't get this one. I would recommend the DeMarzio cables.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:

I bought a half dozen of these in various lengths. Within 6 weeks, two broke. One had a soldering tongue snipped off in the plug's metal housing. The other just had a broken conductor. Keep off anything but molded plug housing.
