Well i just buy the limited edition mapex 6 piece hzb horizon , (that drum set it´s fantastic!!) and with the drum set this pack comes , and i like a lot.
The hi-hat stand is very smooth and the stands are very strong good for drummer that have a lot of punch.
THIS HARDWARE IS FANTASTIC!!!!.
Very strong , and the hi-hat stand is very smooth.
good for the price.
I got this hardware pack when I bought my Mapex kit a few years back. Although this kit may not blow you away with flashy designs or high end features, you will come to love it because it simply does what its supposed to every single time you sit down to play. The highlight of the pack is the cymbal stands. They take a beating and will rival any high end stand on the market. The snare stand lacks a little in adjustability (couldn't get the angle towards me just right because of the geared tilter, but I fixed that by sticking a roll of tape on of the arms to prop up that end of the snare), but man its rock solid. It wont dump over on you in the middle of jamming. Finally, the high hat pedal is admirable for what it is. Again, the thing is solid, just not quite as quick as I would like (something all chain drive pedals have an issue with). Overall the hi hat stand gets a 9 from me because I couldn't knock this thing over if I tried, and I can't hate a chain drive stand because it is a chain drive and not a direct drive. Finally, the bass pedal is more than sufficient for anyone who is just starting out. I upgraded to a set of IC Jr.'s but I still use this pedal at home on my bass drum practice pad. I was expecting wayyyy worse for an entry level bass pedal. Some of the entry levels I have seen are absolutely unusable. Not so with this pedal, it is great for the money. All in all, if you need a started hardware pack, this is it. None of these components needs to be replaced immediately and they will all last you as long as want them to.
