Comments about Mighty Mite MM2909 Jazz Bass Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:
So i got this neck for my mim jazz. it didnt fit the pocket it was just a little too wide. So i pushed it in there forcefully. and didnt go with the curve of the pocket either. Other than that the frets needed to be filed down every single one! But its a great neck truss rod turns good. One solid piece of maple gets the job done.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2909 Jazz Bass Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:
Put together a bass for a friend. Had been wanting to check one of these necks out. I have used several replacement neck from Warmoth and Status Graphite as well as USA Custom and Moses. Neck showed up with a nice finish and a nut installed.
Every neck I've used with the exception of necks from Status (which are around 5 bills) needed fretwork and this neck was no different. It probably would have worked ok as is but to get the most out of any neck you'll likely need some fretwork (level, crown, polish) did need some fret edge dressing too.
Once fretwork was done installed neck, cut the strings and it works great. Really great quality. Easily on par with the nicest MIM Fender necks. The jazz neck is a skinny jazz and was exactly what my buddy was looking for. It is rock solid too and hasn't budged even through a season change.
Really can't lose, especially considering the price. Now I just need an excuse to buy a precision neck for myself.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2909 Jazz Bass Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:
I needed a bass that I can beat around so, I bought a replacement neck for my 88' Squier.
When I got it in the mail, the first thing I found out is that the ferrels from my old neck are too small. Other than that, besides squaring off the tuners, it was easy to install.
When installing the neck don't slide the neck from the heal to the bridge.
Lay your body down, and then lay the neck on the body like a puzzle piece.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2909 Jazz Bass Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:
I was kind of skeptical given the price of the unit but when it arrived I pulled it out of the box and was pretty surprised. the overall wood used is very high quality and it is machined well. The Nut is pretty much garbage and running my hands along the edge you can feel there are some fret ends that need to be sanded down. In regards to the overall frets they look good. Nothing to complain about. For the money its a decent neck and I am confident that it will hold up. I still need to do some routing before the install but I am very pleased with this part.
