I purchased a dozen of these hangers. Out of 12, the main bolt stripped out due to faulty threads in 5 hangers. It is virtually impossible to use this hanger if the main bolt on the yoke strips out due to the brittle metal used in manufacturing! Also, this hanger has only 1 mounting screw and should be mounted directly to a stud if you want to protect your gear. Better yet, I drilled and countersank for another screw on the bottom of the wood mount. Save yourself some time, money, and frustration. Spend a couple of dollars more for the Swing String hangers with double screws.

This really isn't a product you can be all excited about how good it is so it won't be something that you can expect a 5-star "BUY IT" review. But it's cheap and does the job well.I bought it to save floor space but then learned that string life is longer in an air-tight case. I now use this to hang cables up on, it held the guitar perfectly fine, now it holds the cables perfectly fine. It does the job, want anything more?
