Comments about Peaceland Guitar Ring Glass Guitar Ring Slide - 3/4":
I'm not really sure how to judge this other than to say that I really have no idea how to use it. Yes there are simple instructions in the package and you can go out and find stuff on YouTube. But this is an odd slide device and they do tell you that to cover more than one string you will want to buy a few of them. So multiply the price by three and the value proposition is significantly reduced. Then you have to learn to play with the slides at different frets? Maybe there's some interesting things you can do with it, but it's not for me. I got the glass one, and I'm sending it back. I'll stick with a traditional tube style slide that fits my pinky perfectly (the Dunlop 202).
You either get it or you don't. I'm just saying I don't get it. Maybe you will. It can slide on one string, but for me occasionally slipped off the string. If you get multiple rings on different fingers, maybe there are interesting things you can do, but keep in mind that sort of puts you in a whole different world of playing slide. You might find cool stuff you can do, or you might be disappointed like I was.
Seems okay. No flaws found.
Relatively expensive, but probably costs more to make than a tube.
