Specifically engineered to cut 100Hz boominess.
Primacoustic Freeport GT Stackable Mobile Panels form a 24" x 36" stackable acoustical gobo. The sound panels are made with 3" anechoic, high-density open cell acoustic foam, mounted on a rugged PVC stand with a lightweight backboard. Freeport panels provide effective absorption down to 500Hz making them ideal for controlling mid- and high-frequency splash during the recording process.
The Primacoustic audio panels' PVC tube frame is both sturdy and flexible, allowing the Freeport to employ a simple "T" leg system as its stand. It's pressure fit into place making set-up and storage fast and efficient. The clever design also permits 2 Freeport GTs to be stacked to create an acoustical wall. This allows the Freeports to be used to surround a guitar amplifier, or create an isolation area for vocal tracks, brass, or acoustic guitar.
The Freeport GT provides musicians and engineers with a portable acoustically optimized working space that can easily set up and torn down.
As with all Primacoustic foam products, the Freeport GT uses a flame-retardant (not a topical coat) during the fabrication process to meet the stringent California C117 specification. The dark charcoal color is achieved by impregnating the foam with carbon, a natural inhibitor of UV, which also serves to reduce oxidization. This process reduces the effect of discoloration over time.
Primacoustic Freeport GTs ship 2-to-a-box (paired) and come with complete stand, stacking nibs, and a set-up manual.

Comments about Primacoustic Australis Bass Traps Pair:
Over priced and under perform - Go w/ fiberglass core traps containing Owens Corning 703-705 or equivalent for bass traps w/ absorption performance coefficients that are nearly double the effectiveness of foam. You can virtually eliminate standing wave and low frequency reflections in corners of your room down to 80hz for about half the price of these foam wedges.
