I got these Promark nylon brushes for my Roland V-Drums as replacements for very old brushes which fell apart. The V-Drums require using only nylon type brushes, which is why I choose these. My old brushes had very large bristles. The bristles on these B600 model have a much smaller diameter, but quite a few more bristles. But the B600 model had the largest bristles I could find. In trying them out for the first time, I was a bit concerned as these softer brushes produces too soft a sound at first. However, I quickly discovered that I just had to get used to them, and very soon I was able to achieve the full dynamic range I had heretofore achieved by making some minor adjustments to my playing style. At that point I was completely satisfied with my purchase. These brushes seem sturdy and well designed and I think the relatively softer bristles will extend the playing life.

Not strong and sturdy, they've cracked on me, and I'm forced to buy some better brushes. I want better brushes because Im not very organized around my set, sometimes I step on things and break them, now I can't use one of my brushes. I have played with rubber grip wire brushes before I perfer them.

Broke the first time I used it. Messaged MF to see if anything could be done and they told me I probably was just playing too hard. Thanks MF.

I have not used brushes in years, until I tried a pair of these Pro Mark. Love the nylon brushes as they do not have any kind of residue to make the white heads dirty.

I bought my first pair of these from Musicians Friend about 20 years ago. I'm just replacing those with these and they are superb. They feel great. The brushes are secure, nice and tight. Great brushes....

Had two pair. Both plastic sheeths split due to preasure in case. Had to modify to spread brushes for play. I bought a 3rd in case modification fails.

The handle does crack, but unless you play with them heavily then it shouldn't be a problem. The thing I don't like about them is that they are nylon and don't sound as smooth as normal metal wire brushes.

These are amazing brushes, but the handle cracks soon so the brushes fall out, but easy fix, the best brush sound ever!! I would buy these and put duct tape on the handles.
