great stand, folds up to about the size of a guitar case if not smaller, durable, ive been dragging this thing everywhere with me and its still in great condition. now for the negative stuff - a little difficult setting up but its a small price to pay, i wish it hada better way to keep the guitars from hitting eachother but again, whatever guitars are gunna get scratched, and the last negative is i wish it had some kind of way to keep stop the guitars from falling out, hardly ever happens but its just a little detail that would make things nicer, i recomend saving the extra 25$ or whatever it is for the 7 space instead of the 5, works with guitars, basses, acoustic guitars, i even figured out a way to fit an LTD explorer into this thing.
I've had mine for over a year, and it's still holding up fine. As far as risks of damaging your guitars due to collisions with each other or falling out of the stand: You still have to take the time and effort to set your guitar in correctly, just like in any other stand. If you take that extra second to check the angle it sits in, it won't fall out and it won't get dinged up. My guitar tech and I trust the well-being of all of my guitars in this stand during gigs, from cheap Epiphones to 1960's Gibsons.
Man this thing is really cool. The price is a little bit high but its worth it. While it may say it can fit 7 guitars on it, I was only able to fit 5. If you have 7 electric guitars its perfect, but when you try to put both acoustic and electric guitars on it, you kinda have to put them on there back to back. Some may say that it sucks, but they probably are a little too rough with their guitars. People, stop being so rough with them, if you're going to play guitar you gotta know how to take care of them. This product is perfect for someone who has a lot of guitars and a small room to put them in. if I had more room I would buy another one. Try it out people, you'll probably like it.
