This product is the worst buy ever. This is supposed to be indestructable, and it isnt. I have had it less than a year, and the edges have torn up, I have dented it numerous time when I have broken a stick. I could just get an emporer X head, and it would have the batter badge built in, and most likely save money. If you listen to me, you wont buy this product. Way to over priced for a flimsy piece of plastic with glue.
The Slug snare batter badge is okay, but that's all...just average. The graphics, which are a of the bragging rights for Slug, really aren't so hot. You're not going to notice, nor will anyone else, either. The product does have a very good adhesive. It's going to stay stuck. It won't change your intonation. It will reinforce your head. It won't calm any nasty overtones. If they are that bad, you need to tune up, get a different head, or go for the duct tape.I'm not sure it's really worth the money, though. In summary, it's a good reinforcing snare batter badge. Cool looking? No, it's pretty unimpressive. Overpriced? Probably.
