My Traben Torrent Fits perfectly, great padding and huge pocket makes it almost 6 000 000 times better then my last case. Zippers are great! Can catch a bit but easy to avoid. Buy this, you wont be let down. Just dont put a smaller bass in there, my Fender P-Bass moves a little bit too much for comfort.
The good: Thick, about 1" padding, zippers seem above average, large front pocket, tour-grade quality, plenty of room for extended scale basses, 2 backpack straps, 1 carry handle w/velcro, large Traben embroidered logo. The bad: Main zipper catches on internal padding (be careful), could use another smaller pocket or two, the backpack straps will actually hurt your shoulders if don't loosen them up quite a bit (you'll have hard plastic digging into your shoulders). Much better quality than a Road Runner bag.
Wow! What a gig bag! This is possibly the best gig back I have every seen or used. The foam is very thick and will protect the bass from any bumbs and bangs. From what I have seen, the bag is just about water proof. The bag has a huge pocket to put what ever in there. Also, it comes with two straps so it can be worn like a back pack.I would get this bag even if you don't use a Traben. It will work great with any long-scale bass. For a short scale, I would consider something else. There would just be too much room for a smaller bass to move around, but my Traben 4 Array is a perfect fit.
This case is a great buy for the money. And the Epiphone Thunder bird Bass fits perfectly.
