Comments about Vic Firth Rute 202:

The Rute 202 is my go to bundle stick. They are the perfect mix of weight, rod size, and rod amount. The one issue I have with them is the adjustable rubber band. I wish they had the longer, non movable rubber rod holder like the Rute 606 with the fixed band.

I do find that the rubber band moves up while playing. I have not had them come off yet, however if you play with different mallets or sticks in the same song and you either sit on or hold the rute 202 under your arm, be careful when pulling them out as the bands will slide right off.

Comments about Vic Firth Rute 202:

I have had these sticks for a few months. I havent used them much. But I used them recently once and 2 of the dowels broke off. Very disappointing. I think that the dowels are too thick. I own a pair of promark Hot Rods that I have had for over 6 years and they are in a structurally mint condition aside from the cymbal and rim marks.
