Love this stand. The T-leg design really lets you mive it around wherever you want, around as many pedals as you have ... real good stuff. The toggle link on the hats is really creative. Normally if you want delicate foot work you have to fight with the tension on the hat, not with this. It ensures you can use the pedal gently with great response and it meets your demands for heavy playing. My only complaint is it isnt AS sturdy on thick carpet. I play only on carpet and Im keeping it so it isnt that bad. Another great one from Yamaha.
This is the first Yamaha product that I have been unhappy with. It has a lot of features, but it wasn't right for me. This stand doesn't have the solid feel that I'm used to from my other HH stands. I didn't care very much for the locking clutch, so I use one from another stand. The Foot board doesn't adjust high enough for my liking.
I like this a lot. Yamaha normally has good quality products and this definitely lives up to there reputation. its a little bit unsturdy but nothin that really effects the playing. I also dont really like the locking clutch because I like to andjust mine a lot and it makes it kind of hard but I will probly just go out and buy a new one sometime. Overall it's pretty sweet.
This is heavy duty and played with a DW 9000 double pedal. Can't get anything better for the price.
