This is the beginners dream machine. If you are just starting to play or searching for that new effect in your garage band, look no further. I have had this amp for eight months and I still find new digital effect combos every time I play. This is one amp where you will never get tired of the same two channel sounds. Each channel can have its own digital effect locked in and with the supplied footpedal the channel and effects can be turned on mid-jam. It has an RCA signal output that can run to a PA system or home stereo for added sound reinforcement, yet the 30 watts in the Jensen speaker is more than enough to get angry calls from your neighbors. The only downside of the Jensen speaker is it lacks high treble sizzle when coupled to a distortion pedal, keen to audiophiles, but otherwise unnoticeable to a beginner. The sizzle comes out when hooked up to speakers through its RCA-outs. Also has midi capabilities (stuff on your computer, beats and sound control stuff, it gets complicated) which is really cool if you know how to use it. The RCA-in with faded can be connected to mp3's on a computer or a diskman via a Y-speaker-to-RCA cable so you can play along with your favorite song while learning and keeping tempo. For this price, nothing even comes close to the fun and options in this Behringer.

Purchased one for my son. Worked great for a couple months, and then the speaker started cutting on and off after playing for about an hour or two at rehearsal. I saw all the wonderful reviews. Seems like I always get the one that's a piece a #*$&. Guitars used, Gibson LP, and Fender Tele.

Great Studio Amp

By hsech

See all my reviews

I have had my Behringer GX110 for two years now. It has served me well as a recording amp. I have run a Fender Strat, Fender Prodigy and a Martin Acoustic with an active pickup through it. The digital effects are great. It's a little complicated to get the exact sound you want so plan on spending a little time playing around with it.

This thing rocks!

I just recently purchased one of these amps and I have to say it is one of the most feature-packed amps I've ever owned in its price range. It's a great investment for anyone who requires a backstage/practice amp and it's also excellent for recording too!

Pretty good...

By The Bozz

I liked its sound alot, and the effects are pretty good. Only problem: there are not 99 FX, but around 16 - most of them are re-configurations and re-combinations of other FX. They are nice, however, but I'd better liked 5-6 fully customizable FX.

Great Value

At this price, this amp is the best value on the site. It's got a great clean channel, usable effects and decent distortion. I bought mine more than a year ago as a practice amp, and I still really like it. The power switch failed early on, but was replaced under warranty and I've had no more problems.

Waddya want for $69??? A 12 on the value scale!

I am very impressed with this little amp. Yeah the FX are good not great but who cares? The overall sound quality is very good, especially on the clean channel. All the doo-dads & gizmos like line-in/out and fx send/receive just make it even more of a huge value. Heck, I didn't even notice it had MIDI-in for fx control until I saw the plug in the rear. I used to use a nice little Dean Markley 8" practice amp for my home studio. It goes on eBay tomorrow and the Behringer has assumed it's place.

Great!

Nice little practice amp or good for beginners. I bought mine for home recording to be combined with a V-amp. The Jensen speaker isn't very good at all, but you can replace it with another type of QUALITY speaker and it will work great. The effects are fun to mess with but aren't good enough for a pro level. Good for beginners though.

One heck of an amp! Great Value!

By Jonathon-KcXQb

These amps are simply awesome. Small enough for a nice practice amp, yet can pump out the sound for a small gig. Has great, full sound. The built in effects are great! I highly recommend for beginners to intermediate guitarists.

Sweeeeeet

By KuYop

from Fort Mill, SC

This amp is just plain sweeet... It has amazing sound, both the distortion and clean channels sound very good, the effects are great. This is a great begginer's amp. and this thing is loud as hell too. This amp is great for a variety of sounds. The only thing tho..... my footswitch didn't work, but it doesn't matter to me since i wouldn't have used it much. but for this price, I wouldn't have imagined it would have sounded so good. ROCK ON! /m/

Great product for the price

By Maiden NJ

from South Carolina

I spent the same amount on an Ibanez 15-watt amp a while back and this one just blows it away. Sound quality and level are far superior to anything in this price range. Also, the digital effects are quite nice, although not perfect by any means. For this price, it is about the best it can get!

I Love It!

If you don't need earth shaking volume, this little fellow is your amp. Loud enough for small rooms, most churches, and great for sitting around the house and jamming. The tone is sweet! I like it almost as much as my vintage Fender Delux Reverb. It's produces a little noise, but if you fiddle with the volumes a little you can get past it. I'm gonna buy another one! What a price on a great little amp!

Great amp for practice and home recording

By mark1voman

from Los Angeles

If you are looking for a great warm-up/practice amp that you can also do some home recording with, this is it! Only I wish you could combine some of the 99 effects. But, for this price point you can't have everything! Still a great value.

It's not 30w, it sounds louder.

By The 4th Path

For home and small practice it's great. To warm up with a band, it's weak. The effects are kind of good except the distortion/overdrive part.

I bought this amp about a month ago and let me tell you this thing kicks. the amp has great effects and is truly gig worthy. i went to my friends house and this thing keeps up with my loud drummer and all keeps up with a sixty bass amd and a fender bassman ten gutar amp. this amp is great. i had a couple a problems that were fixed . There was a loose wire and that was the problem with the spekaer cutting out but all in all a great amp./

One Week Of Power Problems

By Pat-TYV7j

from Broken Arrow, OK

During the one week I had this unit I began to experience some distortion on the clean channel and next thing I knew I could no longer turn the power on. However, the return was no problem. Think I'll spend the extra money and get the ACX1000.

Ask me a question

For the price of an effects pedal (and not an expensive one, either)you get 2 channels switchable, a list of variable effects, the ability to go direct, and an amp that can actually carry a small gig! sound is good on both channels, very usable.Get the gold coverage, too cheap to turn down.23 pounds of jam!

Not bad at all

By strumma

This amp was actually pretty good. Mine blew a fuse, though, and the distortion is iffy - but the clean channel is absolutely perfect. At this price, buy this with a Digitech-100 and you're set!

I am very happy with this amp. It has opened a new world of music to me. The effects are great - crisp and wild. Thank you so much for this very reasonably priced amp. I'm a very happy customer.
