I just got a used one which was made in 1999. I don't know if they changed anything since then. This is similar to, but not as good as the marshall guv'nor. The clipping diodes are one red and one green 3mm LEDs. It is not useful as a booster (like TS-9 is) but is pretty good as a stand alone distortion. You can get a more punchy tone by connecting to a tubescreamer first then the DMB. On its own it does some reasonable blues tones and the eq is useable. The true bypass is not 3pdt. The knobs are the only part that are a bit cheap quality wise, everything else is pretty good. They are made in the czech republic.
