For starters, Keeley upgrades the fidelity and bass response of the AD9. The stock footswitch is modded to operate as an infinite feedback control. Simply hold it down, and your notes go into feedback, just as if you'd turned the repeat control all the way up. Perfect for sustaining notes or adding a bit of craziness to your music. Even with the true-bypass mod, the AD9's dry output still works as it should”something other pedal makers/modifiers don't always promise.
The real magic with this modded AD9 analog delay is in the Glide Tempo feature and dual expression pedals that control delay time and level. Now you can have just the right slapback echo or spacy, long delays, or glide back and forth for crazy, warped sounds. Keeley uses self-switching jacks for the expression pedals, eliminating the need to click a toggle switch to engage.
Please note, the Keeley Modded AD9 With Dual Expression Pedals cannot run on battery power as the expression pedal jacks take up the space previously reserved for the battery.
