Comments about Marshall 1960AHW or 1960BHW 120W 4x12 Extension Cabinet:
I've had this cab for awhile now.I'm using it with a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100. It is THE sound of classic rock!! It doesn't do quite as well for more modern high gain sounds as the 1960 BV with the vintage 30's but for classic rock, it's the best! It's well built and is just beautiful to look at.Looks great on stage!
Comments about Marshall 1960AHW or 1960BHW 120W 4x12 Extension Cabinet:
This cabinet will blow you away, not only does it look like a million bucks, but it also sounds better than any cab i've heard. 120 watts is plenty for anything, it can handle a lot without being overpowered. i got rid of my old cab to get this one (1960 lead) definately worth the price..

Comments about Marshall 1960AHW or 1960BHW 120W 4x12 Extension Cabinet:
I have both the AHW and BHW. I gig with the B, and record with the A. These cabs are the real deal! The sound great! They love classic/hard rock tones. Cleans are nice too. They really sing when pushed. They are built like a tank as well. I would never part with either cab, nor would I think about replacing them. Solid ply, no partical board, metal handles, and the best sounding greenbacks available today. I have a 1960lead and it sounds "tinny" compared to these. Oh yeah...they are the prettiest cabs on the market :)
Comments about Marshall 1960AHW or 1960BHW 120W 4x12 Extension Cabinet:
I recently purchased this cabinet to compliment my JVM 205H and 1960A cab. The combination or alone with the 205H are absolutely superb!!! Outstanding tone after some breakin time, of course. Great for Classic Rock, Metal and even sounds good with my Fender AE. The rich tone alone is worth the price. Deep bass also. This cab has Celestions best speakers IMO. Nicely made in every way. The tone is almost mesmersizing whether playing my LP Standard or Strat and standing close to the speakers. I may even purchase the AHW later.

Comments about Marshall 1960AHW or 1960BHW 120W 4x12 Extension Cabinet:
I have used Marshall amps exclusively for over 20 years and have used many different amps and cabinets. My prior favorite, my go-to cab, has always been the 25W Greenback cab...until I tried this one. This is the only cab/speaker combination that can beat the Greenback cabs IMO. I can't speak for other amps...but if you have a nice Marshall, this cab will complement it perfectly. THIS is what a Marshall amp is supposed to sound and feel like. Outrageously good.
Comments about Marshall 1960AHW or 1960BHW 120W 4x12 Extension Cabinet:
I don't usuall write any reviews until I have owned a item for a few months, I've had this for 3 weeks now. So, first the cab is a bit heavy, but they all are. Other than that I have only good things to say. I take that back, it was too pricey. Ok negative gone. Clear sound under my JVM410. I am having a good time relearning my amp, this cab has opened a new area for me. I will try to remember to update after I have owned it a while.

Comments about Marshall 1960AHW or 1960BHW 120W 4x12 Extension Cabinet:
I recently purchased this cabinet with a 1959 HW Marshall Plexi Head! The sound is ridiculous! I believe its a great sounding cabinet altogether. If you are ever wondering what you are missing than play through these 30W Celestion G12H speakers. Very bell sounding even with the cheapest of my guitars from first acts, epiphones, to my lovely strats. I played though other cabs and this one beats it without a doubt. Only sad thing is I brought this restock, nowhere did it mention that it was not coming with the 100 watt script logo in the corner area. Bummed me out as the logo is what I dreamed of having on my cabinet.
Thats only reason I knocked a star off. Yes it's a pain lugging around and squeezing into a Beetle, thank God for convertibles, but it's just so iconic see that beast under my plexi head!
